Big news for YouTube users, exciting feature preparation.

 California:

YouTube is preparing to introduce a new 'Save' button in YouTube Shorts for its users, which has started testing.

 According to the report

of the foreign news agency, the purpose of introducing the said feature is for users to easily get back to their favorite clip in the app.

YouTube has announced

that it is testing user interface improvements for shorts.

The updated interface makes it easy for users to save or bookmark these shorts for later viewing.

The current YouTube Shorts

player has 'Like' and 'Dislike' buttons on the top right-hand side, but a recently launched trial used it to disapprove a video to replace the 'Save' button. The go button is being removed.

According to YouTube,

the dislike button will now be placed in the three-dot menu at the top right of the interface.

Users can choose

any of them from the menu that appears by pressing the three-dot option to dislike a clip and express their opinion.

Notably,

this change will encourage users to add more videos to their playlists as the shorts videos get deleted very quickly.

Therefore, the presence of a 'Save' button in the interface will facilitate saving these videos. When users tap on the 'Save' button, the platform will give them the option to save the video to a new or existing YouTube playlist
