 As technology is getting advanced, people with sick minds are finding ways to misuse it,

one such misuse is happening with modern hidden cameras, targeting families and women.

Hidden cameras have become another weapon in a series of various attacks on women, 

seriously undermining their privacy and security.

These hidden cameras are installed in hotel rooms, shopping malls 

and other public places to intrude on women's privacy.

The National Crime Records Bureau in India reports that... 

incidents of people being videotaped by hidden cameras have increased by 23 percent compared to last year.

 

To avoid such threats you should observe your surroundings and take some precautions to detect these cameras.

To identify the presence of a concealed camera in a hotel room, consider the following methods.
Inspection:

Inspect the hotel room as soon as you enter, carefully checking every corner, hidden cameras may be installed on unusual items, such as watches, smoke detectors, or USB chargers.

Mobile Phone Camera: 

Darken the room and turn on your mobile phone camera, and scan the entire room. 

If the camera catches any infrared light, there is a possibility that there may be a hidden camera.

Flashlight:

In a completely dark room, look around with a flashlight, if you see a blue or purple light, it could possibly be a hidden camera.

Mirror:

 Place your finger on the mirror and see, if there is no space between the finger and the mirror, it may be a two-way mirror, with a hidden camera behind it.

Applications:

Hidden camera detector apps available on Google Play Store and Apple Store can also be used, which help in detecting the light emitted by hidden cameras.

Wi-Fi Scanning:

Many hidden cameras transmit content through a Wi-Fi network, suspicious networks can be detected using network scanner apps.

Immediately notify the hotel management or the police after spotting hidden cameras so that legal action can be taken.
