Meet a unique person who does nothing but still earns 80 thousand dollars in a year.

Yes indeed this Japanese man named Shoji Morimoto was fired in 2018.

The company fired him saying that he is not fit for any work.

Since then Shoji Morimoto (now 41 years old) has earned more than many other people for doing nothing.

He is also known as the 'Do Nothing Guy' in Japan.

His job is to rent himself out during the day to strangers who just want someone to talk to or send them somewhere to wait. .

That is, Shoji Morimoto does not need to do anything himself, but sometimes he needs to be active.

 For example,

he was once asked by someone to wait for a runner at the finishing line of a marathon race.

 Similarly,

they are sometimes requested to make a video call to a person who is bored with the task of renovating their home or cleaning their room.

 Once a woman

was supposed to go to a concert with her friend, but the friend was unable to come for some reason, so she hired Shoji Morimoto to take him with her.

So basically he don't has to do anything.

"Many times I get stuck in difficult situations, like having to stand in line for someone else in the hot sun or hours of freezing cold testing my endurance, or with strangers," he said in an interview. Going to a party or standing alone for hours in front of a large crowd doing nothing etc

"But whatever the circumstances, I find this job very special and I love it," he added.

He said that once he had to sit in the rail line for 17 hours.

Similarly, most people share their bad life experiences with him, interestingly, in such conversations they rarely speak or give yes or no answers.

 Shoji Morimoto said

he receives 1,000 requests a year and his customers decide how much they should pay.

But he usually charge 10 to 30 thousand Japanese yen  for 2 to 3 hours.

Loneliness

Loneliness is a big problem in Japan and some people hire Shoji Mori Moto for that reason.
